Abstract: Chronic bronchitis is inflammation and irritation of the bronchial tubes. Chronic bronchitis is the most common disease which causes absenteeism from work and most patient visits to hospitals. It is acknowledged by the WHO as the fourth commonest cause of death worldwide, with a mortality rate increase predicted for the next 20 years. In India, Chronic Bronchitis is the commonest lung disorder following pulmonary tuberculosis and is equally prevalent in rural and urban areas. Homoeopathic treatment should aim to control and prevent from running into complications.
