Abstract: In more developed countries, cirrhosis is an increasing cause of morbidity and mortality and is the 14^th most common cause of death world over. In liver cirrhosis, liver is insidiously damaged and normal liver tissue is replaced by scarring and nodule formation which permanently loses its functions. Alcoholic liver disease is the most common cause of liver cirrhosis. The aim of the article is to explore the miasmas involved in liver cirrhosis and also to explore different Homoeopathic medicines having action on the liver.
