Abstract: Acute, recurring inflammatory disease that affects primarily children (aged 5–15 years) and occurs 1–5 weeks following group A streptococcal infection [1]. Microscopically characterized by Aschoff Cells, diagnosis is confirmed by Jones Criteria & CRP.
