Abstract: Hypothyroidism is a widely discussed term these days in medical field owing to its affection which involves different organ system and hypo metabolism. Also the cardiac and OBG complications wrapped as an essential prognosis makes its management even more controversial. The adequate clinical examination, intricate investigative measures with proper screening leads to well established diagnosis of the above. The survey report study suggests, around 1.8% of the population is affected by it which positions it almost 2nd to DM in terms of endocrine disorders.
