Abstract:
Pitted keratolysis is characterized by hyperhidrotic soles with numerous small pits, a foul odor, and slimy skin. It is usually seen in pressure-bearing areas like the ventral aspect of the toes, the ball of the foot, and the heel. It is very common in people exposed to humidity in the soles, such as farmers, athletes, and maids. Appropriately selected homeopathic medicine can manage cases of this disease. Sulphur was prescribed as an individualized homeopathic treatment based on symptoms and showed positive results.
