Abstract: Terebinthiniae, a clear colorless liquid obtained by distillation of the exudation from certain varieties of the pine trees. This review is collected based on the various case reports on the pharmacological effects of terebinthina. The source books of homoeopathic materia medica state that this remedy is very useful in certain affections of kidney and the bladder, especially in Bright’s disease. Terebinthina oleum is one of the medicine for Fatty degeneration of kidneys, in uremia and uremic coma and for Chronic Bronchitis it is of great use in desperate cases of typhoid fevers. However, further research studies should be conducted to explore its efficacy in treating the disease conditions.
