Abstract:
Indian medicinal herbs are highly promising for treating a wide range of illnesses. One useful medicinal plant is Coleus aromaticus, which has several uses. The principal aim is to identify plant-based constituents in homoeopathic mother tincture. The medicinal properties of the herbal medicine coleus aromaticus have been mentioned in traditional, ayurveda, and folklore therapies. These plant's bioactivities include antioxidant, antibacterial, anti-diabetic, antiurolithic, anticancer effects, anthelmintic, wound-healing qualities. Although not as widely grown as the other plants in the exact same genus, coleus aromaticus has been utilized as a herbal remedy.
Homoeopathic mother tincture is prepared by maceration method as given in HPI and phytochemical qualitative analysis is done. It demonstrates the absence of saponins and presence of alkaloids, flavonoids, tannins, terpenoids, glycosides, carbohydrates, reducing sugar and proteins.
It is necessary to carry out additional research using GCMS techniques, other chromatography techniques, and phytochemical quantitative analysis.
