Constitutional homeopathic approaches are often employed prophylactically, curatively, and preventively for the management of various physical ailments. However, limited information exists regarding the utilization and usefulness of homeopathy in polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS). This review paper aims to explore and synthesize existing literature and highlight the importance of constitutional homeopathic approach in women suffering from PCOS. Constitutional homeopathic approaches for the management of PCOS focuses on individualized treatment plans that considers specific symptoms, constitution, and overall health of the patients. These approaches aim to restore hormonal balance, regulate menstrual cycles, reduce cyst formation, and alleviate other relevant symptoms associated with PCOS. It may involve the use of specific homeopathic remedies that match the individual’s symptom picture, as well as lifestyle modifications and dietary changes to support and satisfy their overall health requirements and hormonal functions. In summary, homeopathic constitutional therapy reduces the need for hormone therapies and surgery by balancing hyperactivity of glands, regulating hormonal balance, dissolving ovarian cysts, and enhancing normal ovarian function. At the same time, this can greatly enhance the likelihood of conception and diminish infertility issues. Early interventions with constitutional homeopathic treatment can assist in preventing further deterioration caused by PCOS in women. Larger evidence-based trials with longer follow-up durations to ensure the safety, feasibility, and efficacy of various constitutional homeopathic treatment approaches in PCOS are highly recommended.
