Abstract:
This study is a retrospective cohort study, also called a historic cohort study It is a longitudinal cohort study used in medical research. In this retrospective cohort study, thirty cases of Tinea Corporis & Tinea Cruris were studied in detail, to understand the influence of miasm on the progress of diseases, clinical presentation, and overall susceptibility of the cases. To derive the Miasmatic activity of the Tinea cases, evolution of Tinea and its clinical presentation was studied. In evolution, we considered Onset, progress, extent, and spread of Tinea, etc. Along with that assessment of susceptibility at tissue level, sensitivity at mind and nerve level, reactivity, and its implication in homeopathic prescription (selection of potency and repetition) and management of Tinea corporis and Tinea cruris was understood. The main focus of this study remains, understanding the influence of miasm on posology i.e., Potency and repetition.
