Abstract:
American educational psychologist Dr. Benjamin Samuel Bloom developed the Bloom’s taxonomy in 1956 which blooms the learning objectives. The three aspect of Bloom Taxonomy has not only its role in achieving learning goal as a general learning technology but revised cognitive domain is simplified and its step by step learning guidance can be not only be most helpful tool to be actualized in practice of repertorisation but also for expansion of knowledge by creativity. In 2001 A.D. Loren Anderson and David Krathwohl updated Bloom’s cognitive seminal framework and created revised Bloom’s taxonomy for better fitting of educational practice of 21st century. I have fitted revised cognitive domain not only for understanding repertory and repertorisation but also for actualizing it in practice and for improvement as per need of hour. I had explained perfectly with examples of various application of repertorisation learning with cases at different situations in cognitive domain. This is the cross sectional slicing method by which a longitudinal concept is sliced to various parts and each slice is taught till perfection is achieved. In my practice, I found students always do better repertorisation by Kent’s repertory but when we teach by slicing method first BTPB, then Kent’s repertory, then Boger’s repertory and lastly clinical repertory methods of repertorisation chronologically by slicing of each method of repertorisation and correlating each other in a hierarchical manner students definitely learn better. The method of repertorisations start as simple method in BTPB and slowly grows complex and at certain point its complexity is blooming to sector totality, acute totality, intercurrent totality and constitutional totality repertorisation in Kent’s repertory, BBCR and Moden repertories and also in Clinical repertories. This is the exploratory study attempt model of Revised Bloom’s Taxonomy application in teaching concept of Repertory and repertorisation for Homoeopathic students.
