Abstract:
Tinea corporis, also known as ringworm of the body, is a superficial dermatophyte infection that primarily affects the skin on non-hairy areas of the body, such as the trunk, arms, and legs. The hallmark of tinea corporis is an annular, erythematous, scaly plaque with well-defined, raised edges, often forming a "ring-like" appearance, which has earned it the common name "ringworm". A 32-year-old male presented with itching with erythematous patch below left axilla since 3 months. A detailed case taking was done and after repertorization and referring to materia medica Natrum muriaticum was prescribed.
