Beneficial effects of homoeopathic medicines in the treatment of gout

Abstract:
Gout is the extremely painful and complex form of arthritis leading to discomfort in performing daily activities of life, the prevalence of gout has been increased not only in older people but also in younger people due to dietary issues and lifestyle disorders. In early 19th century gout was however not well differentiated from other form of inflammatory arthritis but in 20th century it was clarified that the increased production of uric acid leads to formation of crystals in the joint that causes inflammation and results in causing gout. This article aims at understanding the disease picture and all the possible factors responsible for causing gout and unlocking the potential of homoeopathic medicines in treating the symptoms of gout so as to improve the quality of life of all those suffering from this condition.
