Abstract:
Ambra grisea also known as Ambergis belonging to the family Physeteridae is a substance found in the intestines and in the excreta of the Sperm whale, it is a fat like or waxy in consistency and in appearance1. This review is collected from the source books of homoeopathic material medica and it has proved its efficacy in treating various clinical conditions such as Whooping cough, Bronchial asthma, Hysterical episodes in women & Vertigo2. However, further research studies can be conducted to evaluate the effectiveness of Ambra Grisea.
