Nosodes and their homoeopathic application
Shrishail Murgod
Nosodes are special homoeopathic remedies made from diseased tissues or microorganisms. They are commonly used for both treatment and prevention in homoeopathy. This review explores their applications, limitations, and clinical rules with a focus on findings from Indian and international authors. Nosodes are helpful in managing chronic diseases, acting as intercurrent remedies, and even in epidemics. However, concerns about safety and standardization remain. Research and clinical trials are essential to confirm their effectiveness and integrate them into modern practice.
