Abstract:

Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH) is a common condition clinical in aging male, which is characterized by an enlarged prostate gland that leads to lower urinary tract symptoms like difficulty in urination, burning and painful sensation during urination and Nocturia that significantly impact quality of life. Homoeopathic medicine, particularly in 50 millesimal potency is also called LM potency, offers a unique approach to the individualized management of BPH. Homoeopathic LM potency, known for its gentle and deep-acting nature, offers a promising alternative in managing BPH symptoms holistically.

This review explores the therapeutic efficacy, safety, and underlying principles of using 50 millesimal potency remedies in managing BPH. By focusing on individualized remedies and the principle of minimum dose, this approach addresses both the symptoms and the underlying dynamic pathology of BPH. This search strategy for this review article The Role of 50 Millesimal Potency in Management of Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia included all clinical trials, observational studies, and reviews published in previous years and the Homeopathic Materia Medica, homeopathic website, Indian Homeopathic Pharmacopoeia, and books such as Wikipedia, were also searched to enrich the review. An attempt has been made to present this information in this review article.
