Boger-boenninghausen’s approach to ringworm: Insights from a clinical case report

Abstract:

A healthy skin is a source of pleasure not only to its owner but also to the one who looks at it. Skin plays a vital role in the maintenance of physical, social & mental health. Tinea infection are widespread globally, affecting people of all ages and region. Exact prevalence varies depending on geographic location, climate and living conditions. Area with warm and humid climates tend to see higher rate of tinea infections. The quality of life in tinea cases can be affected by various including the disease morbidity, duration of disease, social and demographic factor. In the cases of Ringworm, medicine is prescribed on the basis of particularization (location, sensation, modalities, concomitant) approach, got positive result by selecting Boger boenninghausen’s characteristics and repertory. A case of female of age 29 come to opd with complain of Tinea Manuum for 6 months. After proper case taking, Sulphur medicine given on the basis of totallity of symptom with the help of boger boenninghausen’s characteristics and repertory and Dermatology life quality index score is 21 before treatment now after proper follow up, she was improving remarkable relief in her complain and after 6 months Dermatology life quality index score is 0 and she totally cure with no any complain. Thus, with the help of Boger boenninghausen’s characteristics and repertory, Ringworm fully cure.
