A case of pterygium treated by homoeopathic constitutional medicine, Lachesis: An individualistic approach

Abstract:

Pterygium is a noncancerous growth covering the white part of the eye. It is a triangular-shaped growth, which can produce or cannot be produces symptoms. This condition can cause irritation, redness in eyes, sensation of foreign body, burning sensation and when this growth increases and covers the cornea then it produces dimness of vision. Patient attended out-patient-department (OPD) come with the complaint of white-pink growth in white part of the left eye. This is the case of 30 years old female patient treated by Homoeopathic constitutional medicine, Lachesis. Lachesis 200 single dose was prescribed on the basis of covering totality of symptoms followed by placebo for 15 days.
