Hemorrhoids are also called piles. It is a vascular structure of the anal canal. Haemorrhoids, a prevalent anorectal disorder, can significantly impair the quality of life due to pain, itching, and rectal bleeding with irritation—two types of piles internal and external piles. Signs and symptoms of piles is depend upon type of piles. Homeopathy offers a holistic and individualized approach to alleviating symptoms of haemorrhoids. This review highlights various homeopathic remedies, their indications, and their efficacy in managing haemorrhoids. The role of homeopathy as a complementary treatment in reducing symptoms and preventing recurrence is explored through evidence-based research, case studies, and classical Materia medica.

Objectives: This review article aims to Assess the effectiveness of homeopathic remedies in managing and alleviating the symptoms of hemorrhoids, including pain, bleeding, inflammation, and prolapse. Discuss how homeopathy, as part of an integrative and holistic approach, may contribute to the overall management of hemorrhoids alongside lifestyle modifications and other supportive measures.

Methodology: This review article was conducted using databases such as PubMed, Scopus, and Google Scholar. Articles published in English over the past 20 years were included. Keywords such as "homeopathy," "hemorrhoids," "piles," "alternative medicine," and "symptom management" guided the search. Inclusion criteria encompassed studies addressing the efficacy of homeopathic remedies in treating hemorrhoids. Exclusion criteria omitted studies unrelated to hemorrhoids, lacking scientific rigor, or without patient-centered data.

Conclusion: Homeopathy holds promise as a complementary approach to alleviating hemorrhoid symptoms. Its individualized, holistic methodology may appeal to patients seeking alternatives to conventional therapies. However, more rigorous scientific studies are needed to establish its efficacy and optimize treatment protocols.
