A holistic approach in a case of irritant contact dermatitis by constitutional remedy: Case report
Fiza Mansuri and Raj Singh
Erythema, itching, and vesiculation are some of the symptoms of irritant contact dermatitis (ICD), a common inflammatory skin disorder brought on by direct exposure to irritants. In this case study, a patient who had a history of recurrent irritating contact dermatitis that was not improving with traditional therapy had homeopathic treatment using the constitutional remedy belladonna, which resulted in a full remission. Belladonna was prescribed after a thorough evaluation of the patient's mental and physical symptoms. Over the course of a four-month follow-up, the patient's dermatitis symptoms rapidly improved and did not reappear. This case adds to the increasing amount of data indicating that homeopathic treatment, like belladonna, can be a good choice for the comprehensive treatment of ICD.
