Abstract:

Peptic refers to the stomach, while ulcer denotes a painful or ruptured inner mucosal layer membrane. Peptic ulcer disease is prevalent gastrointestinal disorder, often managed with conventional medicine that may have adverse effect. Homoeopathic therapeutics offer a promising alternative or as an add on therapy. Many homoeopathic therapeutics have sphere of action on gastrointestinal tract, and much research has been done on efficacy of homoeopathic therapeutics in management of peptic ulcer diseases. Nowadays Communities are also choosing homoeopathy for peptic ulcer diseases management.
