Abstract:

Atopic dermatitis (AD) is a chronic, relapsing inflammatory skin disorder associated with allergic tendencies and has a significant impact on quality of life. Conventional treatment options primarily gives symptomatic relief but will be frequently associated with adverse side effects and recurrence. This case report presents the successful management of chronic atopic dermatitis in a 16-year-old female using individualized Homoeopathic treatment. The patient presented with dry, hard, scaly skin eruptions accompanied by offensive, sticky discharge and itching predominantly at night. She has a history of symptoms dating back to early childhood. Based on the totality of symptoms, miasmatic analysis, and repertorization, Graphites in LM potency was administered. Progressive improvement was observed for a period of four months, with a marked reduction in itching, discharge, and lesion severity. The MONARCH assessment tool indicated a probable relationship between the intervention and clinical improvement. This case highlights the role of individualized Homoeopathic Therapy and the utility of LM potencies in managing chronic dermatological conditions effectively and safely.
