Abstract:

Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS) and Polycystic Ovarian Disease (PCOD) are among the most common endocrine disorders affecting women of reproductive age. Characterized by hormonal imbalance, irregular menstrual cycles, insulin resistance, and multiple ovarian cysts, these conditions can lead to infertility, metabolic syndrome, and psychosocial stress. While allopathic treatment focuses on hormonal therapy and insulin sensitizers, homeopathy offers a holistic, individualized approach targeting the root cause of the imbalance. This article explores the pathophysiology of PCOS/PCOD, discusses conventional and alternative treatments, and presents evidence-based outcomes of homeopathic interventions
