Abstract:

Celiac disease (CD) is an autoimmune disorder triggered by gluten ingestion in genetically predisposed individuals. Recent decades have witnessed a significant increase in its global incidence and prevalence, particularly in Western countries. This paper explores the epidemiological trends of CD and examines the potential role of homeopathy as a complementary approach in its management. While a strict gluten-free diet (GFD) remains the cornerstone of treatment, homeopathic remedies may offer supportive benefits in symptom alleviation and overall well-being.
