Individualized homeopathic treatment of PCOS: A case study of calcarea carbonica

PCOS is the most prevalent endocrinopathy that affects women who are of reproductive age. Important characteristics include polycystic ovarian morphology and hyperandrogenism. Anovulation, irregular menstrual periods, and high androgen levels are common clinical manifestations of PCOS, which can result in symptoms like obesity, hirsutism (unwanted hair growth), acne, and androgenic alopecia (balding). Additionally, PCOS is often linked to psychological symptoms like anxiety and sadness. PCOS is a major cause of infertility. The treatment of PCOS using homoeopathy has shown promise. It may help dissolve existing ovarian cysts and reduce the likelihood of new ones developing. Homoeopathic treatment for PCOS has shown potential benefits. It may aid in dissolving existing ovarian cysts and help prevent the formation of new ones.
A case report of a 24-year-old female diagnosed with PCOS. The patient presented with symptoms of irregular menstruation, milky leucorrhoea, burning and itching in the vaginal area, and weight gain. She was treated successfully with individualised homoeopathic medicine, resulting in a marked improvement in her symptoms. Evidences showing reports and investigations are attached.
