Dr. Pratibha Mishra, Dr. Babita Shrivastava and Dr. Suresh Chandra Awasthi
Adolescence represents a critical phase in the health of reproductive females, characterised by the maturation of reproductive organs and the onset of various gynecological concerns, among which leucorrhoea is notably prevalent. Leucorrhoea, is characterized by thick, white, non-bloody vaginal discharge, is often a normal physiological response; however, its pathological forms are common among adolescent females and account for significant clinical attention. Homoeopathy view it as a reflection of the deeper systemic imbalances, governed by the chronic miasms that is Psora, Sycosis, and Syphilis. By identifying characteristic Miasm in each case, individualized constitutional remedies can be selected to provide long-lasting relief, prevent recurrence, and restore overall health. This article enables to understand the conceptual and clinical significance of the miasmatic analysis in understanding and managing the leucorrhoea in adolescents. The study underscore the superiority of a miasmatic and holistic approach in comparison to localized or symptomatic treatments, particularly during adolescence which is a crucial stage of emotional and physiological development.
