A positive role of homoeopathy in treatment of haemorrhoids: A case report

Hemorrhoids are recognized as one of the most common conditions in general population. The burden of hemorrhoids is increasing very rapidly in India. The only known treatment for this condition is conventional system of medicine is hemorrhoidectomy which is associated with recurrence and other complications. Generally, hemorrhoid can be divided into two types- External hemorrhoid and internal hemorrhoid. The case reported here is of 48-year-old male with visible hemorrhoid mass with pain and bleeding per rectum during stool. The patient was successfully treated with individualized homoeopathic medicine. The patient did not complain of any recurrence even after 6 months of discontinuing medicine, the photographs of before and after the treatment were taken to record the changes. This case gives the evidence of cure hemorrhoids with non-recurrence is possible through individualistic homoeopathic treatment.
