Ajay Singh Hada and Shobhana Shukla
Blunt trauma can result in lacerated wounds, which are irregular and typically involve tearing of the skin and subcutaneous tissues. Clinically cuts can range from little skin cuts to major wounds affecting bones and muscles, and if left untreated, they can cause infection and other problems. In this case study, a 14-year-old patient has a laceration on the right knee's lateral side as a result of falling. Calendula officinalis, a homoeopathic remedy well known for its antibacterial, anti-inflammatory, and wound-healing qualities, was used to treat the patient. Calendula officinalis was administered internally and externally. Without the need for analgesics or antibiotics, the patient responded and improved well. So, it shows how Calendula officinalis facilitates the healing of lacerated wounds in a non-invasive manner natural way.
