From obsession to balance: Homoeopathic approach in OCD

Obsessive compulsive disorder has been imposing disharmony among individuals in the current days with the increasing prevalence of mental health disorders. As it can also be associated with other mental health disorders it is of significant importance to consider the patient as a whole including the mental, physical, and emotional well-being. Homoeopathy aids in such holistic approach of treatment. This article explores the individualistic approach provided by homoeopathy and a glimpse of few remedies to differentiate from Materia medica, rubrics that can be considered from repertory and the principles from organon also including the patterns and associated symptoms in obsessive compulsive disorder. Comprehension of the disease process in correlation with the application of homoeopathic principles can uphold the physician in dealing with mental health disorders in an efficient way.
