Homoeopathic insights in the management of Guillain-Barré syndrome: A complementary therapeutic approach
G Dedeepya Sanjana
Acute immune-mediated polyneuropathy Guillain-Barré Syndrome (GBS) is typified by symmetrical muscular weakness and areflexia that progresses quickly. It can cause serious morbidity and is frequently preceded by an infection; in certain cases, ventilatory assistance may be necessary. Plasmapheresis and Intravenous Immunoglobulin (IVIG), which mainly target the immune response, are examples of conventional treatment. Nonetheless, homoeopathy provides a customized, all-encompassing method that enhances traditional medical treatment. The scope of homeopathic treatment for GBS is examined in this research using the concepts of symptom similarity and customized remedy selection.
