Abstract:

Adenoid hypertrophy is a frequent issue in pediatric patients, involving the abnormal enlargement of the adenoids lymphatic tissue located in the nasopharynx. Children with this condition often present with nasal congestion, mouth breathing, snoring, and recurring upper respiratory tract infections. If not treated timely, it may progress to more serious complications such as otitis media with effusion, craniofacial anomalies, and sleep-disordered breathing. This article explores the causes, clinical manifestations, diagnostic approaches, and current treatment strategies, including both conventional and homeopathic options.
