Psoriasis unfolded: A case demonstrating the synergistic role of arsenicum album and psorinum in classical homoeopathy
Praveen M Kulkarni and Athira TR
Psoriasis is a chronic, recurrent autoimmune skin disease characterized by scaly, erythematous plaques, causing significant physical discomfort and emotional distress. Homoeopathy offers a holistic approach that emphasizes individualization and miasmatic consideration. This case report presents the successful treatment of a 32-year-old male suffering from chronic plaque psoriasis, using Arsenicum album as the constitutional remedy, and Psorinum as an intercurrent remedy to address miasmatic obstruction. Prescription decisions were based on the totality of symptoms and justified with miasmatic and repertorial analysis. Regular follow-ups demonstrated sustained improvement, indicating the scope and depth of individualized homoeopathic care.
