The Organon of Medicine by Samuel Hahnemann remains the cornerstone of homeopathic practice. Its principles of vital force, totality, individualization, and miasmatic theory are particularly relevant in chronic functional disorders such as Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS). IBS is a multifactorial gastrointestinal condition with no structural pathology, characterized by abdominal discomfort and altered bowel habits, often aggravated by psychosomatic stress. This systematic review explores the parallels between the Organon’s concepts of chronic diseases and modern clinical understanding of IBS. Studies and classical references were reviewed to evaluate the applicability of Organon principles in clinical management. A comparative analysis highlights how individualization and miasmatic treatment strategies align with modern patient-centered care.
