Abstract:

Plantar warts, a variant of verruca vulgaris (warts), commonly present as hyperkeratotic lesions on weight-bearing feet areas. Though often regarded as benign cutaneous growths, warts are viewed in homoeopathy as outward manifestations of an underlying chronic miasmatic disturbance rather than isolated local lesions. In the miasmatic approach, the clinician looks beyond the surface pathology to identify the deeper constitutional predisposition that drives their appearance and recurrence. This case report highlights the successful management of plantar warts in a 20-year-old lady using individualised anti-miasmatic treatment.
