Abstract:
Formica rufa, commonly known as the red wood ant, belongs to the family Formicidae. It inhabits forests across Europe and Asia and plays an ecological role in soil aeration and insect population control. In homoeopathy, this insect is potentized into a remedy that has wide application in rheumatism, gout, neuralgia, and skin affections [1]. This journal Highlights the Medicinal potential of Formica rufa from a prospective focusing on it’s Description, Distribution, Scientific classification, Homoeopathic Preparation, & it’s action.
