Abstract:
Dermatitis, also called eczema, is a non-infectious inflammatory skin disorder characterized by redness, itching, swelling, and flaking. Its causes may include genetic, immune-related, or environmental factors, and it is categorized as exogenous, endogenous, or mixed. Although not dangerous or contagious, the condition can cause significant discomfort and presents differently depending on the type and site affected. Treatment primarily aims to ease symptoms through proper skin care, medication, and avoidance of triggering factors.
