Dentistry: When homoeopathy can be a complimentary medicine
Siddhartha Das and Banashri Ghosh
Homoeopathy is an art of individualisation. The individuality of each man is unique. The reactions to environment and other factors vary from man to man. The totality of the symptoms indicates the deviation from the state of normal health. Remedies and patients, both are individualised. Every new case taken on is a new world to enter. In homoeopathy there is double diagnosis, one the diagnosis of the disease and the other, the diagnosis of the medicine. The remedies are diluted repeatedly, making them capable of stimulating the process of healing. The effectiveness of Homoeopathy is due to its Holistic approach. There are various Homoeopathic remedies which are found to be effective in treating various dental conditions. The treatment depends on the individual and the severity of the condition. It is also very important to consult a dental surgeon and ensure proper treatment. All the oral and maxillofacial problems are dealt by the Dental Surgeons.
