Utility of miasmatic prescription in the treatment of patient with haemorrhoids: An observational prospective study
Deepti Sharma and Madhulika Shukla
Haemorrhoids are one of the most common anorectal disorders, characterized by dilated veins of the rectum and anal canal. They may present with bleeding, pain, itching, and prolapse. Conventional treatment often offers temporary relief and carries the risk of recurrence or surgical complications. Homoeopathy, with its holistic and individualized approach, addresses both the symptomatic and underlying miasmatic causes of disease. This observational prospective study was conducted to evaluate the utility of miasmatic prescription in the management of haemorrhoids. The study demonstrated significant clinical improvement in symptoms and reduction in recurrence when treatment was based on individual miasmatic background, suggesting the efficacy of anti-miasmatic remedies in chronic haemorrhoidal conditions.
