Parenting includes all facets of raising a child, not only those with a biological connection. Parenting and child raising develop and support a kid's physical, emotional, social, spiritual, and intellectual growth from infancy through adulthood. Parenting practises all around the world have three basic goals in common: safeguarding children's health and safety, preparing them for adulthood, and instilling cultural values. A child's development depends on a good parent-child relationship. The most frequent carer in parenting is either the mother, the father, or both. Due to this scenario this study was conducted to find weather parental nurturing is having any impact on the academic performance of first BHMS students of MNR homoeopathic medical college.

An online survey using a self-administered questionnaire was given to First BHMS students at MNR Homoeopathic Medical College using a purposive sample strategy. They were instructed to complete the questionnaire using Google forms. The statistical score for each response was calculated and analysed.

85 students participated in this study, where as 93 percentage of students are having parental support and guidance that is positively influencing their studies, only 7 percentage of parents are giving extra parental pressure on students academics. and is negatively affecting their studies.
