This study reviews the effectiveness of homoeopathic medicine on stress management. The term “stress”, as it is currently used was coined by Hans Selye in 1936, who defined it as the non-specific response of the body to any demand for change1Quality of life is defined as individual’s perceptions of their position in life in the context of the culture and value systems in which they live and in relation to their goals, expectations, standards and concerns. Stress has become a growing problem in the workplaces and a particular magnitude for all working men and women. The problems due to high levels of stress can be exhibited physically, psychologically and behaviourally by an individual. The most serious effects of stress relate to performance. This review aims to evaluate the therapeutic potential, clinical indications, and efficacy of homeopathic remedies in the management of stress, based on available literature and clinical reports.
