Abstract:
Phaseolus vulgaris (commonly known as the common bean or French bean) is a widely cultivated herbaceous annual plant belonging to the Fabaceae family. The plant bears trifoliate leaves and white, pink, or purple flowers that vary greatly in size, shape, and colour [1]. Various parts of Phaseolus vulgaris have been used for their antidiabetic, diuretic and cardiovascular benefits [2]. This journal highlights the medicinal potential of Phaseolus vulgaris from a homeopathic perspective, focusing in treating metabolic, cardiac, and urinary disorders [3].
