Dose means the amount of medicine given at a time to the sufferer. In Homoeopathy, a single dose of single medicine is favourable for effecting the cure. But the amount of medicine varied from individual to individuals, which creates confusion among the many. It is the need to realize the different types of prescription as a single dose, and their differentiation in quantity of dose, a single poppy seed sized medicated globule, and the effect of adding more globule and frequent repetition and the larger doses. Also to know about the effectiveness of dose diluting with larger amount of liquid, divided dose and intimation of doses. The direction by Hahnemann in Organon of medicine and chronic disease is the need of realizing to decide the quantity of single dose for researchers.
