Amol Jain and Vimal Kr Dayal
Cancer represents a significant global health burden despite advances in modern oncology. The limitations of conventional therapy in terms of side effects, treatment resistance, and quality of life challenges have driven interest in complementary approaches. Homoeopathy, a holistic system of medicine, has been increasingly explored for its potential role in cancer care. This article provides an academic overview of the role of homoeopathy in carcinoma, with emphasis on its principles, possible mechanisms of action, and a review of past studies ranging from clinical reports to experimental models. Preliminary evidence suggests potential benefits in palliation, immune modulation, and improvement in patient well-being. The article concludes with a balanced perspective on integration, highlighting the need for further rigorous research and explores the utility of repertory in the management of cases of cancer.
