Therapeutic role of natrum muriaticum in perioral dermatitis: A detailed case study

Perioral Dermatitis (PD) is a chronic, inflammatory facial illness characterized by multiple erythematous papules, burning, and esthetic discomfort. Topical antibiotics and anti-inflammatory medications are most commonly used in conventional treatment, although relapse rates remain high.
This case study describes on the successful homeopathic treatment of perioral dermatitis with Natrum muriaticum, which was chosen based on customized and individualised totality. Over the course of one and half month with proper follow up, the patient showed significant improvement with no recurrence. This instance highlights the potential benefits of customized homeopathy in dermatological therapy.
